27. Mary Steenburgen
Born February 8, 1953
Why She Sizzles: She’s probably played the sexiest character in any Will Ferrell movie we’ve ever seen (Will’s mom in Stepbrothers).

When We First Fell in Love:  She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Melvin and Howard (1980), and was nominated for a Golden Globe for her debut film performance in the Jack Nicholson-directed Goin' South.

Career Highs:
Playing a sexually frustrated housewife in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?, Richard Nixon’s mother in Nixon.

Career Lows:  She’s never really had a terrible role. Plus she’s married to Ted Danson.

“Work”:  It doesn’t seem like it. Steenburgen has aged gracefully. Honestly? She’s sexier now than she ever was before. And she wants you to vote Obama.
